A Place of Hope

In nations where life can be unbearably harsh, children are often discarded for heartbreaking reasons—because they have a disability or because they are not boys. But in the middle of this darkness, God is at work, bringing light and hope to the most vulnerable through Hope for the Children.

Here, we rescue children who have been abandoned and give them a home where they are cherished. At our orphanage, these children are welcomed as God’s precious creation. They are loved, cared for, and given the best life we can provide—all in the name of Jesus.

Take the story of Mei, a five-year-old girl born with a disability. Rejected by her family, she arrived at our door with nothing but the clothes on her back. From the moment she walked in, she was surrounded by love—fed, clothed, and prayed over. Now, Mei’s shy smile has blossomed into radiant laughter, and she is thriving in a place where she knows she is loved.

Then there’s Jian, a boy whose family abandoned him simply because he wasn’t the son they had hoped for. At Hope for the Children, Jian found a new family—one that values him for who he is, a unique and beloved child of God. Today, Jian runs joyfully through the halls, laughing with friends and learning the truth of the Gospel.

Each child who comes to us has a story of heartache, but God is rewriting those stories. In our care, they receive nourishing meals, an education, and the joy of living in a loving, Christ-centered community. They learn they are not defined by their past but by their identity as God’s children.

This is the mission of Hope for the Children: to rescue these little ones and raise them in the knowledge of God’s great love. We are not just providing food and shelter; we are pouring the love of Christ into their lives, equipping them to grow into faithful followers of Jesus.
